Witchcraft
Witchcraft is considered a form of sorcery,
and people, who perform love spells or invoke a spirit,
tend to fall within this unique category. Individuals, who engage in the art of witchcraft,
are able to
manipulate supernatural forces and use them to benefit others.
Love spells are a good example of witchcraft being used for
positive reasons. Someone, who
casts love spells on others, is desperately trying to win
the heart of that special person. Many people would see this as a forceful act, but this is
not the intention.
Love spells merely create the right atmosphere for two people to become one.
The roots of witchcraft, which led to the
concept of love spells, developed within the ancient
Celtic culture, which existed between 700 BC and 100 AD. These Indo-Europeans descendents
were brilliant masterminds in the art of storytelling and music.
The Celts were also brave warriors and were considered a threat by the Romans, who eventually
adopted some of their unique customs and traditions. The
Celts believed in one divine creator over all of nature. Celtic beliefs focus on reincarnation.
It was believed that when someone died they would go to a temporary
resting place until they were ready to become reborn again. Individuals within this
fascinating culture had a yearly celebration called Samhain or “summer’s end”.
This “Festival of the Dead” honored deceased loved ones, and many modern day Halloween
costumes originated from this tradition.
The Celts had many different beliefs, and all of these
combined became known as Paganism. These beliefs
and rituals were infused within other Indo-European customs and gave rise to the practice of
spell casting, potions, and magic. The word witchcraft gets its name
from the word “Wicca” meaning wise. Many individuals before the 14th century, who engaged in
witchcraft, used love spells, potions, magic, and clairvoyance
to see into the future. Witchcraft was seen as worshiping the devil, but it has no link to
Christianity or Satan himself. In modern days it is seen as new form of
Pagan belief, which worships a Goddess and horned god, but this does not pertain to hell or
the devil, as we know it. Witchcraft is commonly used for good
things and tries to establish an interconnection between people, earth, and heaven.

The persecution of witches has been going on since
the middle ages and renaissance period. Many
so-called witches were persecuted throughout Europe during this time and were burned on a
stake with fire. One of the most famous witchcraft periods in
the world’s history took place in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. Nineteen men and women were
taken to the gallows and hung, because they were accused
of engaging in witchcraft. One excruciating, horrible event saw a man, who was pressed to
death under a load of heavy stones. Many others were branded
as witches and were left to sit in jail without a trial for months. This unfortunate labeling
process even extended to animals, and it is known that several dogs
were killed, because they were thought to be accomplices of the labeled witch. The hysteria
eventually wore off, but many people still felt the need to go on
witch-hunts from time to time.
Today witchcraft is still seen by some as devil worship
or some form of bad religion. However, witchcraft is mostly
used for healing purposes, such as love spells, and acts as a guide to others, who are in
need of help. Professionals, who use this art, take great pride in their
trade and are not out to harm the innocent. Unfortunately, there are a few people, who have
to abuse the gifts that God has given them, and use their special
abilities to do more harm than good. Satanic cults and devil worshippers are good examples
here, and the word “witchcraft” tends to get mixed up with these
groups. It is best for individuals to remember the painful lessons of history and not to
label those, who decide to use their special abilities in an unorthodox manner.
